(For early arrivers: basic route 17 miles easy)

Day 2: We set out for Menemsha --site of the movie, Jaws-- and Anquinnah. From this rural area of Martha’s Vineyard, we cycle to Gay Head, who’s lighthouse and cliffs provide commanding views of Vineyard Sound and the Atlantic Ocean. (basic route: 19 miles easy, extended route: 35 miles easy)

Day 3: A short ferry ride takes us to Chappaquiddick Island, where we cycle through Wasque Reservation to Wasque Point and South Beach. Following seaside views, we ride to Oak Bluffs for an enjoyable afternoon strolling the boardwalk and touring Oak Bluffs’ famous multicolored Victorian cottages. (basic route: 17 miles easy, extended route: 25 miles easy)

NANTUCKET: (Four-Day trip only) From Oak Bluffs we ferry to Nantucket. Once America’s biggest 19th-century whaling port, Nantucket is now a summer vacation haven. We explore Nantucket’s beaches, coves, and waterfront views as we loop around the island. (basic route: 22 miles easy)
